Got this e-mail today from a customers not happy at the service they received from an 'airport transfer' firm.

I can't understand why any firm wouldn't reply to their e-mail.

Alex

Dear Sir or Madam,
We booked a taxi over the internet to and from Las Palmas airport in Gran Canaria. We paid in advance but our taxis did not arrive. The firm is called A2B transfers.com, Suite 109, Railway house, 14 Chertsey Road, Woking, Surrey, GU21 5AH. Please could you let us know what action we can take to get a refund as we have contacted the firm via email and got nowhere.

Oh I see the firm was established by a group of young professionals.

http://www.a2btransfers.com/index.asp

Maybe these young professionals should try looking after their punters, and if they fail to do their jobs give them their money back. I mean it must cost thousands to run their suite in that office block.

Word of warning to punters, the reason these type of firms are cheaper than your normal firm is because they were established by a group of young professionals who know f*** all. [-X

It is unwise to book a Taxi service online through one of these agents because they are unaccountable. Always book with your regular taxi provider at least that way you might not lose your money.

Ring your credit card company and ask for a refund

I sent an e-mail to the firm requesting their view, and their reply is below.

Alex

Dear sir/madam

We act as a agent for all taxi firms which is registered and reliable
companies

There could be many reasons why a transfers didn't turn up or was late.
Our agent in the Canaries is one of our best agent but its impossible to
have a 100% record since sometimes people errors step in.

Many times clients also make mistakes on their booking vouchers giving
incorrect details.

We refund all clients that's transfer didn't turn up due to our error.

Please sent us the clients complaint and we will look at it no problem.

1. Has the client sent the complaint to us?

2. Have we responded?

3. If we have what type of respond?

Thanks and Regards

Renaldo Scheepers

You are being modest by not informing everyone that it was only through your intervention that he got the refund.
