November 8, 2007 Thursday 5:43 PM BST TAXI MAN GUILTY OF SEX CHARGE A former Carlisle taxi driver has been found guilty of repeated sexual assaults on two girls. Alan Westmorland, 67, had pleaded not guilty at the city's crown court to a total of 10 charges but was convicted of eight of them. He was remanded on bail for one week and then will be held in custody before being sentenced on December 6. ________________ |
