Could someone tell me whether I can drive my 3 year old Skoda using the certificate of compliance issued by West Dunbartonshire Council without obtaining a seperate MOT certificate

The whole point of DVLA 'Certificates of Compliance' is that it saves drivers having to buy MOTs as well.

In my manor some tester give MOTs as well, but don't charge. But having to buy twice makes no sense. Which is perhaps why some councils do it. :shock:

Cannot in Dundee,have to have seperate MOT,AFTER ONE YEAR OLD. :roll: :roll: .
The latter even for a new car,right out of the wrapper.
This is due to the police saying that the test,is for when travelling outside the area.
