ECHO voice appeal helps cops track cab suspect
DETECTIVES have charged a man with the robbery of a taxi driver after
an appeal in the ECHO.
Earlier this month, we put the voice of a man police wanted to trace on our
website.
The audio was from a taxi booking made with Crosby firm Delta Cabs on
December 4.
When the driver picked up the two-man fare in Dale Street, Liverpool city
centre, at around 3.30pm, he was directed to a set of garages off
Elizabeth Road, Fazakerley, where he was threatened.
The driver was dragged from his car before the two men drove off. John
Graham Muldoon, 25, of Huyton, was charged with eight counts of
robbery, one of attempted robbery and firearms offences.
He was remanded in custody until February 13.
