On Sunday 29th June a male traffic cop ran into a Manchester black cab as the driver was executing a u-turn near to a police station on Talbot road Stretford. The taxi driver dropped off his fare at Old Trafford Cricket ground where Radio-Head were in concert and was returning back to Manchester when the incident happened. The police officer was sent hurtling down the road as he and his motorcycle parted company on impact. The driver of the taxi was uninjured. Regards JD |

Was that the Karma Police then (a little joke for Radiohead fans)? More seriously, doesn't look like a good advert for advocates of the turning circle - didn't one of the many reports on the issue say that it encouraged dangerous u-turns? |
