Final job of last night's shift..Totally and absolutely hammered out his skull guy..gets to his destination.." " That's £5.00 please " PUNTER.." You're getting nothing ya ***** " so off i go back into town with the ned, telling him he's walking from his pick up point and not to take the long way !! when i spot a Police van..a flash of the lights later the two female officers (after searching him) inform me that he has bank cards on his person and, if i care to take him to the nearest bank they would ensure that i was paid. Three attempts later with the cards i still ain't got no paper in me palm, the officer's give him a nice seat in the back of their van. I inform them that if they recoup the money from him, that would indeed suffice and that i would pick it up from their station when they were back on night shift. " Are you happy with that Mr.****** ? " says officer 1.. " Of course " i reply..then, officer 2 pipes up.." You know what would make me happy Mr.****** ? " After running it through me brain i say " No enlighten me " to which she replies " Breathalysing you ! as i suspect you to be under the influence of alcohol " talk about the victim becoming the accused !! So, after a zero reading on their toy off i go with no apology, no fiver, and certainly no trust nor respect for the law anymore.. Is it a jungle out there or what ???

Lifes a bitch, then you die. I often wonder how folks from this country would fair in other countries of the world where the law enforcement agencies drag you from your car or house with a gun aimed at you. In countries where you have no rights, no legal system and bribery and corruption are as common as empty Buses in London. Is'nt amazing how we now live in a country of complainers and people who take huge offence if someone even sneezes at the wrong time? It's good to know the current generations were'nt around fighting for us in 1939 - 1945, otherwise I guess we would all be typing in German.

Small wonder they get as much Respect as a Fox in a Henhouse. Perhaps as a nation we get every service we deserve? What would you do if you saw a crime or someone in trouble? Drive on by like everyone else? A bit like jury's made up of unemployed losers who acquit slag after slag as they don't have a clue what is going on with legal jargon. The country’s a sheite hole because we've made it that way. A nation of complainers who wouldn’t lift a finger if their own relative was being assaulted in front of them, but instead would rush home and type out a complaint (in bold)about the Police, the council, the MP, the Government . . . . in fact everyone apart from their own spineless selves. |

So an observation is now a 'tangent' in the world of the Bog.
My blood pressures fine thanks, you forget my three day week isn’t as tasking as your's. The attitude of the officers (not that you were there) was to request a breath test. That's what they do. Hardly tasking? My point was, if it by-passed you, was this country is now brimming with people who think (in capitals) they're getting a bum deal, when in fact we live in luxury in GB compared to the rest of the planet, and some folks out there need to take a reality check as to what a 'problem' or 'attitude' consists of. Lot's of 'rites', not many responsibilities. Aren’t forums great places though for folks who wouldn’t say boo to a goose.

I nearly forgot to ask you Mr Bog, a couple of weeks ago you felt the need to start a thread over on the Admin section which was solely about you wishing to leave TDO. Apart from the fact I can't see the need to announce your desire not to post on here anymore, was there any particular reason you're still here? Just wondered.

But presumably she had cause to breathalyse you and just didn't do it for the fun of it. After all, not all breath tests are positive, and I daresay a majority are negative. |

It was probably more to do with targets. I would suspect that each officer has to breath test X number of people to fulfil their target and she was probably under her quota. |

Your lucky. In Brum it is the cab driver that would have been arrested, on suspicion of kidnapping the passenger!!!!!!!!!! And the passenger would have been asked to give a statement to that effect, i.e. that he was taken against his will back to where he had hired the cab. |
