If it was anyone else apart from a bouncer I might feel a degree of sympathy. I've seen doormen kick the sheeite out of people over the years with little more than an arguement, so I'm afraid at some stage, Copper, Scaffolder or Coffee salesman, someone will do the same to them. But they don't like it when someone bigger than them comes along.

Magistrates in Bolton sent a private hire driver to prison for three months for spitting at a traffic warden but perhaps he should have done what this policeman did, he might have got off with it. Regards JD |

The Sun wrote: A woman who answered the door at his home in Inverkeithing, Fife, said: “You’re lucky he’s not around just now.”
Why? Would he have nutted the reporter as well? |

Would the police have taken the same course of action if the bouncer had perpetrated the unprovoked act of violence upon the policeman? In my opinion this man is a menace to society and displays a complete lack of self control. If this is what the law is all about then those at the top have some serious questions to answer. Regards JD A sign of the times, I think. The days of public servants actually serving the public are long gone. No one trusts the police any more because trusting someone involves risk. The government, the courts or the police do not require our trust as they are totally unaccountable for their actions. Welcome to Totalitarian Britain, 2008. |

Quote: PC Johnston was at work and unavailable for comment yesterday.
A woman who answered the door at his home in Inverkeithing, Fife, said: “You’re lucky he’s not around just now.” sounds a right charmer |
