Oh dear, the "TAYLOR - The Truth" page on Fasties seems to have disappeared. Now it's back. Now it's gone. Now it's back ....

Anyone claim to understand why?

Couldn't be because their claim about Taylor and Thomson was actionable, could it?

Couldn't be that they've overstepped the mark?

Couldn't be because a complaint has been made to the authorities, could it?

Couldn't be because Mr Gladstone has made claims he can't substantiate, and never could, but made anyway because of his blind obsession to bring down two superior intellects?

Couldn't be because a wee police wifie has had a wee word in his ear.

Perhaps the interesting thing is that while the server can't find the site, there is no indication of why.

Seems Mr Gladstone couldn't bring himself, in his usual inimitable style, to put the usual dreary page of inane typescript on the screen to tell us his manic intent.

And, what happened to the imminent return of Fasties? Even the maiden voyage of the Titanic lasted longer than the latest intended reincarnation of the Forum of Fools.



BTW It is certain that Mr Gladstone's claims, being actionable, are defamatory, as well as criminal. Hasn't he left himself open to the real potential of legal suit?

Remember, it is entirely unlikely that an anorak - furiously spending all his available spare time typing invective onto the web through his keyboard, probably through all the aliases he's likely created to mask his dementia, purple in the face from his exertions - would therefore have had enough spare time to keep this colonial shack in any state of decent repair. BTW When you're listening to bile in a taxi watering hole, make sure you what's being said is actually true and not defamatory. Venting your spleen with a sudden rush of blood to the head only ever brings grief. It's hardly worth losing your licence just because you were stupid and let off steam.

Then there is his somewhat entertaining reply:

Knowing your penchant for lying and distorting the truth, a copy of your allegation, along with this response, has been forwarded to my solicitors for their opinion.

So tell me Alan, are you claiming that this page, and/or the URL reference to it, never appeared on Fasties? Careful now.

Are you claiming that you are not the owner of Fasties, and therefore not responsible for its content? Nor that you are responsible for any of the bilious content contained within it, as you appear to suggest in your email?

And, are you further claiming that you are not the owner, with legal responsibility for, of www.edinburghtaxidriver.info , or that you are not associated with this site, have made no contribution to its formation, nor advised on its setup or advised on hosting it abroad, or any other matter related to its creation or existence?

Also that you are not responsible for, or have any knowledge of the creation of any of its content, particularly the page currently being displayed, which purports to have information of collusion and conspiracy between Garry Thomson and I, a very serious charge, in respect of the threats made by another taxi driver to me and my family?

Are you also claiming that you have no knowledge of who does own the site, and who is responsible for the slanderous and defamatory content of it, which claims to have information pertinent to a police investigation and which, if indeed true, would strike at the very heart of our justice system and result in serious charges being brought against the perpetrators?

I look forward to receiving your answers to these simple questions Alan. Clearly, if you have nothing to hide, it will not be difficult for you to answer them openly, honestly and timeously.
