The Law Commission for England and Wales and the Scottish Law Commission have argued for consumers to retain the right to reject faulty goods and receive a refund. The European Commission has proposed that retailers should be allowed to offer a repair or a replacement and only then provide a refund.

I thought that once you had agreed to a repair or replacement you lost your right to a refund anyway.
