Meanwhile, a taxi driver was assaulted after picking up passengers in the town centre.
The 34-year-old man, who was driving a black taxi, sustained scratches, bruising and soreness to his right ear after he picked up four passengers on Silver Street. He also had his wallet and coat stolen.
The two men and two women, aged between 25-30, began fighting in the back of the taxi on November 1 at 11.40pm as the taxi drove towards the Belle Vue area.
After the driver told the group to stop, he turned back into town as they grabbed at him. Jumping out on Hall Gate he ran to Flares/ Reflex for assistance where the men ran after him.
The first man was white with short hair and wearing an green G-Star t-shirt. The second man was also white, while one woman was wearing a silver dress with little sleeves.
