and Rome was a fascist dictatorship which collapsed due to its oppression and greed.

I think people are mistaking thinking that giving a few pounds to unfortunate people is wrong - especially considering the billions being stolen by a few - when the maths are done you will find the few are effectively stealing from the many - but such is the propaganda - you are duped into believing it is the fault of the unfortunate.

Divide to conquer has been a tactic since time immortal - blame the less fortunate, blame the different - use the basic tribal instinct of the masses to do a job - a millennia later people still fall for it.

Actually its 2061 years because the mediaeval monks lost 7 years when they were working out the calender !!!
