did anyone see kemi badenochs budget response ? She certainly had the claws out and rachel reeves looked ashen

So tinkering with taxes and doing little to promote the economy although I suspect Veezu, Uber,Bolt and delta are going to be busy finding a way around the new rules for them

having savings in the bank or rental or dividend income is being hammered. If you've spent your life being financially prudent your stuffed but if you've spent your life boozing or taking drugs you are going to be rewarded with extra benefits.

There's something seriously wrong with a system where you can save (like we were told to) and buy property (like we were told to), where if you are unfortunate enough to develop something like Alzheimer's, the state will take your savings, sell your property and leave you with a pittance to cover your care costs - whereas if you p*ssed it all away or didn't work and claimed everything the state would look after you FOC

A budget for non-workers being funded by extra costs to workers.

And the highest national tax take in history.

Had to laugh when she was questioned about per mile charges on EVs.

She couldn’t answer how those charges would be assessed for new cars that don’t need an MOT for three years.

It was the best response to a budget that I have ever heard.
now that the cap on universal credit and number of children for child benefit have gone I am thinking of having my vasectomy reversed and helping some of these young ladies with their claims.

And now apparently beer Starmer is expecting everyone to believe his denials now that we know the government were hiding important economic information from the nation which almosrt certainly has contributed to the stalling of the economy.
