doesn't seem that long ago since you were pointing the finger at the BBC Gus

I still am, although their bias has been noticeably toned down of late. BBC Scotland has long been in the pocket of SLAB.
Perhaps Farage thought BBC Scotland would be as nice to him as the BBC/MSM he usually deals with?

Or perhaps it was all just a stunt, with Farage getting exactly the result he was looking for?

Farage needs to realise his anti-foreigner anti-immigrant agenda isn't wanted or popular here, no matter how many down south think the sun shines out of his rectum.

Well if the scots are pro immigration perhaps they can take a few hundred thousand migrants and take the pressure off England :D

Farage is not perfect or the solution to all our woes BUT he is one of the few politicians willing to tackle some of the thornier issues which is why so many give him a rough ride because they are afraid of what he might achieve

TBH that sounds more like desperation than hope.

IMO England needs a real alternative to the 3 wise monkeys in different coloured rosettes. Farage and his collection of right wing malcontents isn't it.
He's crossed a threshold recently, no longer an annoyance on the margins but a threat to all the major players. He's had an easy ride so far but the cosy relationship he has had with the press and other parties is going to come to an end really soon.
Expect a constant tirade of negative stories about his party members and some proper analysis of their policies between now and the next election.

The C of S was a powerful institution back then, with a lot of clout, CC
Times change and so do attitudes.
