MOST self employed business startups do 100 hours a week to succeed, why should cabbies be any different, if you want £15K a year for 40 hours a week get a PAYE job!

Many cabs as often reported on here are in appalling state of maintenance .
If the likes of WANNA can obtain a licence clearly all checks are flawed
Theres 3 essential requirements the present system fails to address therefore the Tory's are right take this work away from the cab industry NOW :D

Another cabby was going completely Cash free, are you taking it one step further Shitsky and going completely Client free?

Trottys already gone IQ free bless his addled old brain cell

Your confusing Driving a 100 hours a week with being available to drive 100 hours per week, if you were driving all of the 100 hours every week you'd be heading for a mortuary slab through chronic exhaustion, yet if you were available for a 100 hours per week you might be driving less than 40 per week.

That's about the size of it...simply if you were driving a 100 hours every week you'd not need to because you'd be raking it in with a Cab that's eternally full of cash rich clients..

Think about it Corporal Trot the TDO Clot. #-o

Bloodknock dear chap unfortunately for you and as has been discussed many time the Working Time regs classify being available as WORKING! many have fell foul rightly so on this ....................................your available your working .......................not resting so yer a danger if you do not take the appropriate breaks and time off .........which of course the likes of wannabe dont #-o Therefore your a danger to your passengers and other Road users ................which is why transporting children OAP's etc on council contracts MUST be removed from the Cab Industry =D> =D>

Take a look at the Working Time regulations.........................dynamite for cab drivers and their irresponsible working practices .............PH and Chauffeur as well scorn public safety .............................did a session in the commons on this ...................along with a professor on sleep deprivation from Loughborough University and Brake the Road safety org........................the current practices must be stopped.........................councils are correct orgs to arrange this transport with PAYE staff and Council owned and maintained vehicles =D> =D> =D>
