What happens when Brits move to places in the sun like Spain? They try to recreate England in the sun, reading The Sun, drinking warm lager and eating fish' n' chips. Most can't even be arsed to learn a bit of Spanish. Maybe these are the same people who vote UKIP by proxy from England-in-the-sun and complain about immigrants taking over their land.

One simple question.

Why do so many think that tried and tested parties that have been in government time and time again- failing every single time............are so geared to getting it right this time?

A simple fact says that we have never in our entire history been in the National debt that we now have!

Another simple fact also tells us that many other nations are also in dire financial trouble!

So on a postage stamp please tell me the financial benefits of being in the EEC, because after 40 years it has been proven time and time again...........it is getting worse!?

Also tell me as to why we have potentially let the equivalent of a foreign army in through our borders that could reek havoc at any given time?

Please do not give me the it (creates) jobs scenario, as that applies to generally isolated cases and not nationally as in years gone by when we were in the commonwealth etc.

And one other final thing........is it worth giving up our borders just so one or two do not have to wait and show their passport!!!!! ?

I have yet to see one good reason to stay in - Miliband & Clegg must be total retards with Cameron starting to bend a little.........but do I trust him

Be careful what you wish for guys and girls, this middle ground you allude to, is National Socialist Territory, and is related to the far right and fascism, irrespective of what Nigle Farage claims. This is why, at the moment, UKIP is trying to distance itself from the BNP, EDL, and National Front. UKIP, for all intents and purposes, is a far-right party with left-wing politics thrown in, in order to bring everyone on board who are disenfranchised with conservatism/liberalism.

Oh and it's a clever ploy. The main political parties in this country should be worried. Farage is either extremely lucky or he is a lot smarter than he looks.

I think the point you are missing Trosk, is that Nigel Farage, has set himself up as the respectable face of National Socialism in this country. With organisations like the EDL, NF, BNP, etc. waiting in the wings to take care of the wetwork. Now UKIP, might fizzle out like those who have attempted this political position in the past, but it's not looking that way, and right-wing politics seem to be on the increase due to the economic realities of life, here and throughout Europe.

Oh and Trosk, I think the Tories or Labour, for that matter, are struggling to come up with a cogent argument for anyone to take them seriously. No one wants to hear about posh boy politics anymore, let alone, vote for the pri*ks.

Honestly Trots I thought you were better than that.........War debt and the debt we now have are two different types of debt! A lot of war debt disappears/gets written off as favours are returned - the debt we have today has been totally amassed through incompetence........and it is not going to be written off. Do you honestly believe that it is possible to pay back debt that is/was in excess of 250% of GDP
