Everything the coalition have done since the election has been designed to protect that rating, all the cuts and austerity have been in preference to losing the rating. Now they're borrowing more than Labour ever borrowed, still in recession, and now the rating has gone. Osbornes in trouble now. Who's in it together? Not F***in me. |

A bit of perspective here half of Europe and the USA have already lost their AAA credit rating and these agencies didn't get their ratings right with the banks did they so not many people take them seriously now. The real problem is the National debt and how are we going to balance the books our credit rating is a side show |

AA-Outch, ey? You know what, when I see this pathetic still boyish looking banker boot-jack of yours now, after he has preserved the wealth of the bankers and ruined the rest of the country, I feel like a rat. For in 2009 I´ve left a sinking ship. Cheers, from AAA country. |

They are not borrowing more than Labour. But one of the reasons the ratings have dropped is that the Tories are starting to get a bit soft over reducing the debt. All that said do we really care what these agencies have to say, didn't all of them give top ratings to all those toxic funds/banks we have bailed out? |
