Which leads to the question: if someone is born in Britain and has a British passport, how can you ban them from re-entering their country of birth?

There has got to be case history re the "Spanish Civil War". Many of our lot went to fight in that one..........and were allowed back without so much of an eyebrow being raised.

Wrong as usual sheep dip they were welcomed back as heroes which they were for fighting Fascism .....................Jack Jones was one................and i new many others in the Print Unions all determined characters many of whom had a great influence on me in my formative years

There lays the problem.........it is alright to fight one cause.........but you cannot the other! Basically the spin doctors havd re titled it, and you are sucking on it. I guess the saying "One mans Freedom fighter is another mans terrorist" is a one way ticket in your world.

Would we criticise our people if say America was having similar problems and our people went over to give a hand.......J am not condoning it - just trying to see another angle.

Whichever side you shack up with......there will be a religious undertoe. Wars from years gone by nearly always had religion pushing it along- you of all people with the beliefs that you feel,must know that it is true.

I am thinking with the mindset of knowing how much "we" as a nation get lied too, and how much spin is chucked our way........do we really know the truth?

I was watching a newscaster on TV broadcasting the other night from apparently some war zone! She was togged up to the eyeballs in flack jacket,war helmut etc! In the background there were people walking around in tea shirts,shorts,people chatting in the street and cars driving nonchantly up and down the road - So was that BS by our own propaganda machine...........or was it the war zone that they were trying to portray!!!
