I suspect a large % of those going to Iraq/Syria will end up dead when the final battles happen, as they will.

Some will never come back, and will find a place to live out there. Maybe that place will be what they want, but maybe it wont.

Those that come back will be arrested and if convicted spend a long time in jail.
