I would be happy to take a bet with you that it will not be November 5th though. |

I do not gamble so I cannot take up your kind offer. |

another Tory MP has quit triggering a by election so that result will be a litmus test of whether Sunak has stopped the rot but I doubt he has. At this rate the tories might be the opposition by the time of the election ! |

So it could very well be the 6th but not the 5th The reference to winter elections means that they don't like elections from December to march. |

My humour seems to be lost on you lot. I said nothing more than to expect fireworks on November the fifth. Oh well. |

Have you forgotten the “all the money is gone” note left by Labour in 2010? In my opinion it will be a hung Parliament. But what would you or I know? |

1st weekend of campaigning Sunak seems to be getting himself as much TV air time as possible so looks like the plan is to convince the country how great a job he's doing (even though he isn't really) labour didn't really get out of the starting blocks but I suspect if the polls show the gap narrowing they'll move up a gear Lib dems, reform uk were all invisible |

so loads of mudslinging during PMQ's highlighting that both main party leaders have a questionable background don't think either party benefitted from that |

well that tax bribe has been unveiled but I think they are hoping for lower inflation figures and a cut in BOE base rate before setting the date |
