so he's resigning because of the campaign to discredit him. The problem is even if it is all above board and legal he is now tainted. The smear campaign has worked

Even if he gets reelected he is now proven to be just like the rest of them so he has no chance of winning a general election the mud has stuck and with it all hope of breaking the two party sysstem

The main parties are saying they won't field candidates, Greens not yet known.

Farage could still have a problem if a strong independent (not Binface) decides to pick up the gauntlet. Remember Martin Bell?
