Are the 30,000 in all of Ireland or just one place in Ireland :?

Anyway back to my original question. In english please, no jockspeak :D
You have Northern Ireland and southern Ireland ,so your question should be phrased differently...... ask Gusmac for the answers...

Ok for the purpose of this question. The Ireland I am talking about is the Ireland to which the post refers

It refers to the Republic of Ireland which, for the benefit of those who keep pointing to this example, is not a part of the UK.
Most of them are, I believe, based in Dublin.

It's strange to think that in England and Wales the majority of LAs have delimited, yet the plate barons' best argument against delimiting is this unholy foreign feckup.

I've yet to hear anyone on here call for this type of mad free-for-all, but it does stop T and the others having to produce a reasonable argument which doesn't reek of greed and self interest.
It became apparent along time ago that you're a fool, so why waste time and effort
No coherant defence then? I'm shocked.

I don't see why, I am sure you're ignored all the time
Not really. I haven't had your experience at it.
Or anything else...it really does show.....

Very amusing. Don't you have something better to do with your time?
Stealing lollypops from children perhaps?

Taxi drivers stage 24-hour stoppage

Thousands of taxi drivers are taking part in a 24-hour protest today.

A group called Taxi Drivers for Change has organised the day of action, which saw services stopped from 4am this morning.

Drivers are calling for the suspension of new licences and a review of the taxi industry.

Pickets will be placed at ranks across the country.

Spokesperson for the group Frank Byrne said: 'It is encouraging to see increased numbers of taxi drivers and other organisations now participating in the campaign. The numbers are growing all the time.'

Meanwhile, around 20 taxis took part in a four-hour work stoppage at Dublin Airport this morning.

The protest, from 7am to 11am, was organised by SIPTU.
