Is the Midlothian taxi area restricted in numbers?

I noticed they can use the E7 in Dalkeith but not in Edinburgh?

Strange, considering both lye within the boundarys of Midlothian.

Midlothian does have numerical restriction and can use the E7 as you say.
It is not so strange when you realise that Edinburgh may lie within Midlothian as far as the Post Ofice is concerned, but it is a totally separate independent local authority administration area.
Both came under "Lothian region" until just prior to devolution, when Lothian disappeared and the district councils were renamed and became autonomous administrative areas.

Correct, but how do Midlothian have the E7 and Edinburgh don't? Just curious, if you know what I mean?

The Fair View has got right under your skin RCF, hasn't it. A simple question and you get all bent out of shape, to be expected I suppose.

No chance of a meeting then.

Ah well never mind I am sure you will have plenty to say even though you are still in hiding from the big bad Skull.

BTW have you spoken to many drivers lately, it seems the Fair View has put the cat among the pigeons, more and more seem to think the system is loaded in favour of the vested interest groups that claim to run the trade.

Do you ever get the feeling that this is just not going away sometime soon?

Or like the dumb arse councillors in Liverpool that say the E7 is not fit to be a cab, because it could be a danger to punters, but is fit to be used as a PH. ](*,)

Sad to say, nobody thought to give me a copy of the rag(maybe they couldn't find me?)
I have glanced through it on the web, but not thoroughly studied it. All it seems to contain are the regurgitated thoughts of Jim Taylor coupled with a few questionable claims and suggestions.
Strangely, out of all the people that I have spoken to nobody rates it as either worthwhile or even factual.
btw don't flatter yourself - me hiding from you? behave son, you just don't have anything to say that is worth hearing. And you will be going away soon - Experience shows that your type do eventually get the hint - better believe it!!

Shame you just can't face meeting with me understandable though guys like you are ten a penny. A simple little meeting with nothing to hide and what do you do, hide. Don't you have any back bone can't you see that cowards like you have no real shelf life, your fear betrays you every time.

If you disappeared tomorrow who would know?

There's an old saying, when people know your real name and don't know who you are, you've left your mark.

Which is more than can be said for you.

There you go again. There is a difference between not being able to face a meeting with you and finding the same, unnecessary, if not boring.
Try changing the record - you are becoming increasingly boring with your incessant demands for confrontations.
How many times does it need said, disliking you and your kind and not seeing any point in meeting with you makes no-one a coward, it just gets under your skin.
Leave it, since I am obviously not big enough or important enough for you.

A simple little meeting and you have got to turn it into some thing confrontational, you must have nightmares about me. It's a shame your not man enough to meet, instead you hide away here under a pseudonym.

You are pathetic, I am sure everyone who knows you secretly thinks the same but that probably goes to show the standard of your so called friends.

You people are all the same and that's your problem.

skull - Read the words.
You are a waste of space, time and effort.
You say nothing important.
you are not important.
The rag that you are party to is a pack of lies, half truths and misconceptions.
It is laughed at by most of the trade in Edinburgh - drivers and owners alike.
You are the one wanting a meeting - I wouldn't waste my time on you. It doesn't matter how often I've said it, you ignore it.
A simple little meeting? the last time I met you, you went on and on and on, ignoring everyone who disagreed with you.
And don't think I'm bothered by you or your ignorance, I pity you in a way. You are so pathetic.
