Manchester's long awaited Random selection (not lottery or raffle, that term might put some religons off asking for a plate) takes place on 29 Nov next. Yes Sussex you are right. The amazing thing is the previous case was against themselves. The could be forgiven if it had occured somewhere else and thay had missed it, although even that is a flimsy excuse. |

Manchester Council seem to have made a mistake (as I predicted) with their random selection draw November last. It now turns out most of the first 59 names drawn out of the hat never met the criteria for applicants and should not have been there in the first place. An emergency meeting is called for tomorrow afternoon with the cab trade comittee to try to sort this mess out. Solicitors are sharpening pencils as I type. |
