Renfrewshire Council's Taxi Enforcement Officer has conducted his annual Taxi Demand Survey & concluded there is no demand for taxis which is unmet

Link to Council website

Item 3.7.2. advises that the taxi owners at Glasgow Airport & the Paisley T.O.A. have helpfully indicated there is no unmet demand :-o

Basically they are saying they don't need any more cabs because the PH are meeting the demand that the cabs use to. [-(

Why don't the council just get rid of cabs altogether? Problem solved.

So no one ever waits for a taxi at Glasgow Airport? Are all airports like that? I don't get to go much, so I wouldn't know

The other bit I like was that restrictions promote social inlusion. I always thought it was EXCLUSION, so I suppose we'll have to differ on that.

Another peach was the bit about it promoting sustainable development - limiting numbers lessens pollution and the use of non-renewable fossil fuels.

So I take it PH cars in Renfrewshire run on fresh air then? I doubt it, certainly if Mr Renfrewshire Driver's Montego is anything to go by
