| Post subject: | Taylor/Skull appeal |
The Taylor appeal has just been lost with the council's offer to reconsider it being perfectly legal and acceptable to the Sheriff and apparently the law. Effectively a waste of everyone's time. Wonder what the pathetic excuses will be this time? Just couldn't resist letting you know. Alan G btw I am not JohnT and he is not me - but I do know him!! |

If that is correct then it doesn't surprise me in the least because that was the only stumbling block in the appeal application and I might add it was one which was considered. I'm sure it didn't come as a surprise to the applicants because it was a calculated risk not to take up the offer of a re-hearing? However there were four points of appeal and it will be interesting to see what if anything was said about the other three? Quote: btw I am not JohnT and he is not me - but I do know him!!

have you a link to this story, i take it they cannot get a plate??? or has the whole plate issue been thrown out. |

This Sheriff should familiarise himself with the law and if it was me I would most definitely appeal. But thank you for that input Mr Gladstone. JD |

If the council's offer to re-consider has been given approval by the court, then exactly what is lost other than a few months wait. Of course the council now admit they got it wrong first time around, so let's see if they make up for their errors next time.
