If ken agrees with you, why did he allow it in the first place?.

Correct Sussex.in these areas you can only go so far at a time, without us Ken wouldnt know of it.Drivers and controllers need to play a more positive roll, sitting on a screen sniping at your allies is hardly productive.I keep tellinh you Rambo come to the meeting, join the Union have your say make your point you opinion will be valued as indeed everyones is in the Union.

So what your saying GMB is that Ken knew there could be coruption with driver testing and wanted it to happen before he did anything about it, what a load of B******ks!.
What he should have done is not allow any companies to test drivers, only the PCO, then we would not be in this postion.
I am comming to the meeting GMB, PM me the address and time.
As for joining the union, I will wait and see what you are like in person, but to be honest, I don't like the idea of you sticking up for me.
I will make that desision after I have heard you speak in person.

Rambo no of course Kens people didnt think they would corrupt the test,WE the GMB new of course, but you cant make such allegations without reports, were now getting them,so we deal with it.Im afraid the political reality can be very long winded. We objected to the incestious arrangment, but i keep saying it many companies are honest.Im sure the testing will be removed from the props,if the PCO do it expect a large increase in the licence fee, they dont want to do it.

GMB, that is the most sensible reply you have ever put on here.
The thing that annoys me about Ken is that if we, members of the industry knew that companies testing thier own drivers would lead to corruption, why did'nt he?.
Having said that, Ken take's no notice of anyone. The prime example of that is extending the congestion zone, 80% of buissiness's and 70% of residents objected and yet he is still going ahead with it. The most frustrating part is that he spent £1000's sending out consulation leaflet's and took no notice of what the people wanted, not very democratic.
I hope he enjoyed his little holiday though  (at tax payers expense).

I agree to a certain extent, but public transport should be publicly owned.
I think it is a diabolical liberty that a private bus company should be helped to make a profit with public money.
Don't forget GMB, the private motorist contributes alot of money in taxes to this country and should not be ignored.

Rambo who privatised Buses and Railways Tory vermin of course, snout in the trough you bet.Labour conference demands re-nationalisation little tory Blair ignores.Coming soon new leader John McDonnell we hope [you can meet him next week] he will definitely follow policy.
Of course the private motorist should not be ignored, but most accept Public Transport must come first, not everyone can afford their own vehicle.and if they did chaos, remember the elderly and infirm!!!!!!!!!!
