Touchy huh?

Because some of the ideas I heard being mooted in the select committee and various PH and Taxi proprietors there were patently insane.

Look at skips ideas, then look at another persons, the chances are you'll set out to please everyone, and end up pleasing no-one.

5. Amend the legislation to allow for PH Operators to transfer bookings to other PH Operators nationally.

Do we really want to see National PH operators?

Or the likes of poverty pay Delta controlling the nations taxi/PH? :?

anybody can charge vehicle owners now to join websites used by the public to book a taxi/PH, so wheres the difference?

theres no national hackney service is there.....

Since Brum wanted it in 1s, why not 1 cab 1 driver no more renting

"NO MORE RENTING" what about those drivers who would rather rent a vehicle than have the hassle of running their own or cannot get finance to purchase their own.

Looks to me like there are a few people on this site that don't like to see anybody else earning a little bit more money than them.

1. Which ONE item, relating to Hackney Carriage legislation, would you like to see included in the new Act that is not already in the existing legislation?

Meter fares to include journeys outside of area, and 100% WAVs, and op licensese for firms of more than 2 taxis.

100% WAV's for H/C what a load of tosh obviously your not a H/C driver.

Are there not disabled people out there who are unable to get into a WAV ?

Joe public who refuse to travel in a WAV ?

100% WAV's for the H/C trade would be great for the P/H trade which is what you are probably hoping for.

If the Equality Act comes up with a figure of 50% WAV's for the H/C trade then the same should apply to the P/H trade.

Is that not the same as renting apart from the PAYE

Has the person who purchased a vehicle & plate not made an investment then

Nor do they view the H/C trade as 100% WAV's just wish full thinking of the P/H trade.

Why should a driver rent?? if they cannot get finance tuff, if they decide 1 cab 1 plate per owner and that owner requires a driver they must pay the min wage, no more percentages of a bag
I was referring to hack and PH

In a single blow you just reduced London's taxis by a half and got rid of a good number of posters on TDO. [-X

So if a person cant afford they have to finish?

Do you intend this type of fascism to extend to those who cant get mortgages too?
