have I mentioned your name MR T no, but to answer you question truthfully not as far as you can,  or CC for that matter

No you did not mention my name, but you were getting extremely personal, and completely off the subject.. so in my way I thought I would make you think.... nothing personal....

C C. is secretary of the National Taxi Association, it means that he has to do all the administrations,JD. seems to think that all decisions are made by him.. they are not they are made by the board of directors, and it is cc's job to co-ordinate and place before the directors the views of all areas and their associations, if you knew the truth you would know that everything JD has said about CC is purely made up from his own imagination, I have spoken to the trade in Carlisle and he is held in high regard... eusasmiles.zip

OK Sussex I nominate you as vice chair

See that's the problem, if I can't be number one then I'm not in the slightest bit interested. :?

It would seem JD cannot get his head around the proposals and is inclined towards creating a distraction by going over old ground regarding his fixation with CC. so Sussex it seems pointless debating..

Hello, hello out there !!!!!

Please just for me, even if only on this thread, can we debate this important issue? [-o<

I agree entirely but some people live in a cocoon and think that just because they are one of a small minority of selective taxi trade groups that have been granted a legitimate expectation of consultation by the DfT that they can ride rough shod over the majority of the trade that chooses not to be a part of any trade grouping?

Getting these minority groupings to justify their actions on behalf of the majority of the taxi trade is sometimes a near impossible task, as is manifestly obvious in this instance.

Regards

JD

I think those contributing to this site are well aware of who can and cannot get their head around these proposals. It will be interesting to see your explanation of why you think they are in the best interest of the Taxi trade?

You have the floor.

Sussex asked for debate lets see what contribution you have to offer?

I predict you will be another one taking the fifth amendment.

Regards

JD

And who voted you in as the person to represent the rest of the trade, backwards forwards, backwards forwards, one minute you say you only represent yourself and the next you're representing the Hackney Trade....

When have I ever stated I represent the Taxi trade? lol.

Perhaps many wish I did represent the Taxi trade because my philosophy is inclusion rather than exclusion. I wouldn't deprive anyone of information or facts just because they weren't a fully paid up member of the club?

Thats the difference between me and you and every other self opinionated taxi representative, of which there are a great many.

Now just to prove me wrong why don't you tell all of us why you and some of your buddies in the NTA wish to change hackney carriage legislation for the good of hackney carriage drivers?

Once again you have the floor, you can either use it to chit on, or tell us your reasons for supporting these amendments? The choice is yours.

Regards

JD

Well JD, there are two types of people in the Hackney Trade and private hire trade, the professional people and drivers that want to do the job correctly, and are willing to go by the rules, and then there are people like yourself who wish for a free-for-all, drive round in dodgy motors, are happy that they get away with it because there is no enforcement, in fact give the trade a bad name... the Hackney Trade and private hire trade can well do without these people.

So thats your response to being offered the floor?l lol

And here's me thinking you might explain your reasons for supporting these amendments. Remind me Mr T do you drive a hackney carriage or just own them?
