I have just been informed that i do not have any liability insurance either public or employee. all of my drivers are self employed and pay lease for my vehicles.
is it true that i still need to get employee liability even though i do not actually employ them. they do run under my operators licence however...

is public liability normally included in fleet insurance policies as i believed or not necessarily.

can anyone recommend a company that offers cheap liability insurance...

Crystal balls are not reliable on insurance matters. You need to check the wording of your policy and discuss with your broker. Everyone can be different.

IMHO, it is sensible to have a complete insurance package with one provider. If you have a collection of policies with different providers to give what you think is total cover, you may find each denying liability because of the presence of another. HTH.
