Oh yes, and the firm looks well iffy as they can't even register the site's address. Be interested to find out where their office is.

(thus getting around the operators license???) If they only use hackneys then maybe they could be legal, but in their terms and conditions it mentions an extra charge if customers mess up the private hire vehicle. The first question I would like to be answered is are they part of National Express?

Has anyone enquired as yet? I reckon it looks ok, and if they can do as they say, increase your calls/ business, then should it be worth joining? |

They may well be able to increase your work load, but the issue is whether they are operating within the 1976 act, and on that I have my doubts.

It's a crap site anyway. I tried to get a quote for Friday 26th February 2010, from The Manor Hotel at Meriden, on a wait & return to Shirley in Solihull at a pick-up time of 21.00hrs & the site couldn't do the quote. They appear to only do the major cities & towns on longer mileage work. Anyone fancy giving me a price on that job; it's genuine & I can't do it 'cause I'll be well p*ssed by then. |
