can someone tell me if i will find it difficult to get a job off of an operator due to me only having a drivers license for just over one year. will it be to expensive for them to get me on their insurance

Your age might be just as important - I think 25 is a bit of a watershed for taxi insurance, so if you're under that then the insurance goes up by a good whack, and most owners won't entertain the extra cost.

Try asking local offices, they should be able to tell you.
