yes i know this has been on tdo many times. but i cant work this one out. a firm in brighton has taken over one with Adur PHs. both Adur and Brighton work is despatched from the brighton office. the unions/associations have complained with one of the big firms to brighton council, yet they say its legal. but Adur say its illegal. How do you work that one out?
its going to turn nasty soon. especially when you have multi car jobs from different areas. so much for having the dsa and a hard knowlegde in B&H when you can go to Adur with a silly knowlegde and no dsa and still work brighton. the worlds gone mad. might be an independant soon.

This judgement says what they are doing is illegal. http://www.bailii.org/ew/cases/EWHC/Adm ... /1900.html Adur are right, and B&H are wrong. Oh how surprised am I at that?
If you, or anyone else, wants copies of all the major CBH judgements then I'm sure a few on here will e-mail them.

the power of tdo or maybe just coincidence. but the council have made the firm to split the work between those nasty outsiders and the boys with the knowledge. ive heard that an ex member of this site had something to do with it. and well done to him. see you lot they arent all bad over on the dark side. well one insnt anyway.

jd i think the Lo was on side. it was the legal view from the council solicitors that was against. but Adur legal said it was illegal. i still will believe it when i see it. but at least we a statrt has been made.

this is still going on. the unions and the ph ass have united on this and thats unheard off.
the council are backtracking and being very wishy washy. last I heard they are holding the frontpage of cab trade news for this story. can anyone tell me if auriga can split groups of cars and only give them certain jobs? thats what the firm are saying they are going to do. give adur cars only adur work and brighton only brighton. but the work will still be taken in brighton. I think the council have gone soft. but this is going to be fun.

on and on this goes. the lastest is that Adur cars from the firm cant pick up in Adur but can in Brighton. Work that bugger out.
one thing this might all lead to is an end to the taxi cartel that we all know about. just as well i can work the ranks.

![]() the latest is that Adur cars on that firm canbt pick up at Adur town hall because the Lo will prosecute. But can pick up at Brighton town hall because Brighton council are sticking their heads in the sand. thing is those involved on the Brighton side unions association firms wont let it go. big rucks ahead.

Why don't they just move the booking office to Adur? Then they could license them all in Adur, and pick-up anywhere? What a nonsense our system is. |

Better still, move the office to a call-centre in Calcutta. Where would they need to license the vehicles then, eh? |
