Elsewhere on TDO this new text message system is mentioned.

But people may be interested to know that if you text it, the first number you will see is a LPH firm, the second number is a LPH firm, the third number is a LPH firm and at the bottom is the black cabs one number. :D

So that's Gold for LPH, Silver for LPH, Bronze for LPH, and the wooden spoon for Mr GBC.:lol:

Considering 5000 Taxi's out of 21'000 use a radio, why would we want to be one of the top three numbers? providing of course you are not telling lies to try and get a half hearted attempt at some respectability. :lol:

Well I texted the number at 1 am in Chiswick High Street.

This is the text, verbatum:

'Sorry, we cannot locate licensed minicab firms serving this location. For a Black cab call 087187 18710. for London travel info call 02072221234. This msg free.'
