Our departed friend Mr T has been sending people unsolicited e-mails, so to save him doing so in the future I will put the message up on here for all to see.

Mr T I know for some reason you can't keep away from this forum so I shall just state the following.

If you did send the email in question to a subscriber of TDO then "your actions are beneath contempt as well as being factually incorrect".

I know how desperate you are to blame me for every adverse event that occures in the regulated Taxi market but it is about time you realised that it is those in authority who are applying the adverse changes which you yourself are held hostage to and not me?

You may suffer sleeples nights wondering when the domino will finally fall at your door but I'm afraid even though I support equal opportunities I was not the original architect of the plan that set the domino in motion. Furthermore, even though the domino will eventually run its course, you will still be left with your cabs. You may not have anyone to drive them but never the less you will still have your assets to dispose of as you wish.

You have taken your eye off the ball Mr T, it is not I you should be concentrating on but those who have the power to effect change. You should be looking upwards instead of sideways there lies the real power.

Regards

JD

Thing is JD, even after dereg, drivers will still be hiring owners cars, it will still be business as usual.

For me it will be good.

But for the customer it will be worse.

I'm not concerend about the rights and wrongs of why a diminishing number of local authorities practise quantity controls. My only concern is that the equal rights of individuals are upheld and if need be I'll apply myself to helping those who find themselves in a situation where they are being shafted by an administration or monopolised entity such as LTI in the case of Leicester. We shall see if the council and Taxi drivers of Leicester get their wish to be able to drive alternative vehicles to the ones currently on offer.

I don't mind letting the courts determine who is right under the law.

I was forwarded a couple of these before, but didn't bother saying anything.

The thing I can never work out is, who writes Mr T's messages on the other forum?

If you are asking me the above, then you couldn't be more wrong.

I love a ruck, the written type that is. But I don't like snides and liars, and people who say one thing to some then another to others.

Which is why I'm hear, and they are there.
