Two things spring to mind, firstly a common thread is clear.

Secondly how nice to see a council acting against Community Transport and Patient Transport.

I see some of those offences are for having your plate tied on with string, hell they want to come up here, string, wire etc etc

Also why is it different when the Council issues you with tempory plate whilst you wait for new one to arrive, they say put it in the back window, do not drill it or fix it to the outside of your vehicle.???

I would assume they weren't keeping certain records because those certain records would have been evidence of illegal activity.

i am surprised that none of them tried to use an interpreter, seriously though note how many of them got done for illegal pickups, i thought with Brum being deregulated eons ago this sort of carry on should not have happened.

Interesting information, and leads back to my posting

http://www.taxi-driver.co.uk/phpBB2/vie ... highlight=

we are now pressurizing our LA to actually act against operators in this area. They say it is not politically correct to do so...what about politically correct that drivers are unlicensed and do not have CRB checks, vehicles unchecked and do not conform to pre-licencing requirements.

we'll see what happens but i'm not going to hold my breath!
