I have applied for a school badge. the council have come back to me that there is information disclosed on it, the update service check doesn’t give them the details of the offences disclosed
They requested a copy dbs certificate plus the attached consent and statement forms
Only issue is I don't have a copy certificate and the offence happened 40yrs ago
Does this mean I have pay for a new dbs check?
Already pay £13 a year

You should have a check code. Didn't you have to give this so the LA could check it?

Didn’t this come up on the original DBS check?
If you don’t have the original DBS certificate which you are paying £13 to keep it updated is only valid if you have that certificate in your possession, if not you will have to apply for a new one, and yes £70 is a ripoff.
