We have few out of are Hackney drivers working in our area with same plate/ car colour as our hackneys (Saloon)
Can we argue they take their TAXI roof sign off as they are out of area to Stop confusing customers or do they have to keep on their TAXI roof signs regardless they are working out of area as private hire ?
A hackney carriage is a hackney carriage no matter where he is working, even if he is only doing pre-booked work.
Therefore the rules that apply in his licensing area also apply in every other licensing area. So please take a picture and report him to his licensing authority.
