Surprised Wolverhampton stopped at 8.

It appears laws don't to apply to them.

I would say that you are responsible simply because you are to blame for everything, just ask your LO.

I would always check my plate when i collected it. i did once find an error with the number plate and then spent an hour and a half stuck waiting whilst they produced a replacement corrected plate. I believe that if you put a plate on a vehicle with incorrect details then if you are stopped by police it can be an issue.

At the end of the day it's your responsibility to ensure everything is correct because if it isn't you are liable.

I once (a very long time ago) worked for the best part of 3 months with no plate.

It was knocked off at a car wash I seldom used, and bless them they kept it and gave it back to me when I next used it.

I still can't believe that a) I didn't notice, and b) that no one else did. :-k
