After all the talk and warnings of our LO about me not displaying door signs when im not working because i was concerned it's an invite for someone who thinks cash could be inside, i've been broken into.
Nothing taken but i've had to have a new passenger window fitted.
Gutted!

Would they not have known it was a taxi by your plates which display your private hire licence number on the rear of the car anyway.

Not good.

Of course they could, but it's nowhere near as obvious as having door signs on, especially when parked amonst oter cars in a line.

We are allowed magnectic signs and magnectic plates.
So generally we are safe from harm.
Of course living in a very nice area also helps. :D

Which does beg the question what's the point of allowing mag signs if they can't be taken off? :-k

Which goes on to beg this question. How are Hackney owners supposed to cope, if a similar problem exists in their area? Do they remove the toplight? Or buy camouflage netting for their purpose built?
