Taxi drivers test failed MALVERN Hills District Council has failed its own taxi driver knowledge test, after two of the answers proved to be wrong. A sample of the test, to be given to all new taxi drivers, or those due to have their licence renewed, was printed in last week's Malvern Gazette. Readers soon contacted us to say the answers to the two Upton-upon-Severn questions were wrong, and that the right answers were not among the options provided. The Pepperpot is in Church Street, not High Street, and the White Lion Hotel is in High Street, not Old Street. Phil Browning, district council licensing officer, said the answers had now been corrected. |
