Can anybody tell me if a private hire vehicle has to be insured continuously for the full term that it is licensed. |

???? If a vehicle is being used on the road it must be insured. If it is a private hire vehicle it must have private hire insurance. |

A PH is always a PH, so it should always have to have proper insurance. I suppose if it wasn't working and was parked up off the road for a while then maybe a different view could be taken. Why do you ask? |

If it's on the road and licenced, it must be insured as PH. |
