isnt the point that these attacks on the whole are not actually carried out by the legit licensed people?

How can it be bogus private hire? was it a pre booked fare?

The vast majority of the bad guys are un-licensed taxis.

To be an un-licensed private hire they must have first receive a booking from a licensed or un-licensed operator. :wink:

I agree Mr gusmac, but some sections of the London cab trade think it's clever tarring all London PH with the same brush.

Unlicensed minicabs ....is that better ? im not slagging legal ones down sorry if it came across that way its just in london we get all sorts of foreigners/ non indigenous types in london touting all the time and its getting to a level where violence is being used we are sick of it someone is going to get realy hurt soon and the old bill do nothing since tfl took over .... :cry:

The vast majority of touts I see are licensed Minicab drivers driving their licensed Vauxhall Astra's Minicabs.

Well not really as minicabs were never licensed in the first place.
