Now that the loophole in section 75 1B is closed I think that VOSA should be turning their attention to our conspiracy laws. I don't see any reason why all these limo companies who operate outside the law should not be shut down in one fell swoop.

I propose this can be done by bringing charges of "conspiracy to break licensing laws" against all websites who advertise unlicensed vehicles. It would only take one prosecution for every unlicensed hire and reward company in the UK to get the message.

Get your finger out VOSA and look at all the options.

Regards

JD

All it needs now then is for someone to suggest that to the minister.

What a cracking idea. However I think that Conspiracy is a Criminal Offence that only the Old Bill can deal with and I don't think VOSA will be able to persuade them that it is a matter that they should pro-actively be looking at even though it might be a Road Safety issue and as such might be one of their famous Key Performance Indicators!!!
