pink ladies are still working in warrington . WHY ?

from a meeting they had with the LA last week they are legal to carry on working as they are due to a loophole in the removel/amendment of sec 75 the wont say what it is untill there legal team has double checked it is legal but untill then they are carring on working unplated

Q: does anyone (JD,TDO etc) have any idea what the loophole can be in the new legeslation that allows they to still run as private hire or contract hire.
all i know is it cant be small psv

loves and kisses

There is no loop-hole, unless they are dealing with dead people or men who might just as well be (i.e. weddings).

But I would love to see exactly what they are trying to mug your LO with. :?

Section 75 1b no longer exists so in that respect there is no loophole but what I can tell you is this. The reason why Pink Ladies are still operating as they do is because they believe they have found a legal solution to their membership system, which allows them to operate unlicensed. I am aware of the basic details but it would be folly to comment without knowing the full facts. However I understand there is a ten pound membership fee involved which basically on paper gives the member a share in the company. As I said I don't know all the facts and don't take what I said as gospel. I suspect that you will get to know a lot more before I do.

One thing I should say is this, if it is legal, then they are breaking no laws.

Regards

JD

I heard of a limo company doing something similar to this over a year ago. You had to pay a one off joining fee and then you paid for the use of the limo in the normal way.
At the time I thought they were crazy but maybe not.
