Location: in the drivers seat where else
when a taxi from out side london goes into london is it treated a taxi (as in using taxi lanes, con charge etc) or do they have to pay like a car

A taxi is always a taxi, regardless of where it is licensed.

You will have to pay the congestion charge, however you will be able to use any bus lane that the London black cab trade does. :wink:

I regularly go to London and can confirm what Sussex says as long as you are a Hac you can use the bus lanes but you still have to pay the Con charge

Yes, The congestion charge exemption only applies to hackney's licensed through the PCO.

Yes he can and does, but please folks bear in mind it's the punters that pay it via the fare. :wink:
