This is a genuine research question.

There are loads of companies offering relatively low cost taxi and private hire website solutions for taxi and PH trade. What do members here generally go for when they consider a taxi website/app?

What features do you think would be essential?

How much would you consider to be reasonable?

What is not available out there at the moment that you think would help your business?

Thanks
for your time.

up here in Glasgow it seems that we're still stuck in the 90's when it comes to websites for taxi/ph firms although a few are using booking apps that look like something a 1st year programmer cobbled together in a couple of hours

What features do you think would be essential?

something that works would be a good start. pricing online booking etc etc

How much would you consider to be reasonable?

less than you want to charge. taxi/ph barons have to pay for their big houses somehow.

What is not available out there at the moment that you think would help your business?

no idea. i'm only here to be grumpy and bitch about the poor standards in the trade.

Thanks
for your time.

Getting the website right is a good thing, but we must remember folks are only looking for a number and/or a price.

So keep it up to date with new pictures of the fleet, not cars that were once modern years ago.

And apart from an app for geeks, not really sure if anything else is needed.
