is it software driven (requiring updates/downloads on a regular basis) or web driven (like a RSS feed, push email, messenger, etc) so all updates are done on its server?

No downloads or updates that have to be done by us. we got system in over 2 years ago it was put in a cupboard and padlocked so nobody could touch it. local pc shop comes in every 6 months and cleans it out (dust wise) and updates the antivirus ( staff arnt allowed to go on internet with it). Every program other than the dispatch side is locked out and we havnt had any trouble at all of the system and its worked perfect. what we have had is trouble of the human side I.e drivers not putting the pda,s on charge so the gps switches of and they just bounce from zone to zone. Booking clerkes just putting a general area in say tyne and wear instead of the correct destination so the sat nav dosnt no how to just go to tyne and wear it has to have a street adress. other than that the clerkes find it super easy to use and its very easy for the drivers. And with a choice of ringback or textback and customer phone number displayed so you can ring them yourself if you want makes no shows very rare. overall its a good system and has worked well for us. I read that nidge has trouble with his system but there has got to be more to it than just the system to blame theres a firm 20 miles from us in newcastle with over 100 cars running mercury and they have no problems either. If your thinking of getting it you wont regret it and the clerkes will thank you

They use all of them O2, Orange, Vodaphone, Tmobile, EE. Three.

They try to con you into this dual sim where you have 2 sim cards so if one network goes down it jumps onto the other one.

What they don't tell you is, some of the above piggy back off other companies networks so, if Orange is down and you've got a Tmobile sim as a back up it's not going to work because Tmobile piggy back off Orange.

Watch out because they've changed their name and moved offices, strong words on the street are that they've phoenixed the company and altered the trading name.

Must admit, when I used it at my last place, we never had any problems with it.

given the onset of cheaper/free t'interweb/GPS/Google mapping, etc it wont be long before a totally free working system arrives, not long back it cost a fortune to use RM databases to do pricing of jobs, now its free source
