| Post subject: | New Taxi Dispatch and Booking Platform |
We are a small company working on a platform to aid taxi firms compete with the growing number of private car and ‘rideshare’ apps such as Uber. We would appreciate any feedback or interest from Taxi Operators in order to help us move this in the right direction. Initial Questions we have thought about include :
When was the last time you noticed a customer using an app instead of booking through you ? How many bookings do you think you’re losing to this ? Have you got any existing solutions to try and address this (legal or technical) ? Do you currently use dispatch software with app or online booking ? How successful do you think these systems, or legal challenges are ? |

Thanks for your response Sussex, are you aware of any initiatives by taxi companies in your area to create a co-ordinated booking platform to compete, or whom might be interested in such a thing ? |
