I've been a hackney licensed driver now for about 5 years and started with a Puegeot 406 which will not be allowed to be licensed after just under three more years. I bought it outright as I had the cash at the time and the seller wanted to get out of the business so meter etc was included which saved a lot of hassle and got me started very quickly. I am now looking at either a people carrier (our local council always insist on seats being removed so hard to get one for more than five people) or a Skoda Superb. Can anyone give me any idea whether it's best to go to a main dealer or Cab dDrect etc. Also is it best to go down the leasing route and if so why? |
