I fixed mine once with gaffer/duct tape rather than give Frauds £45
I tried that, worked for about an hour ! Ordered one from a scrappys for £15 and it had a split in the same place (common problem)! Ended up getting a new one which of course can only be got from a main dealers - £90

It's the pipe at the back of the engine that's gone. It'll be fixed tomorrow.

MK3 115ps. EGR to intercooler pipe, the 'S' shaped one - loads of the straighter pipes at scrappys but the 's' shaped one was harder to come by, none of the local guys had one. The straight pipes are cheaper for some reason. But either £45 or £90 for 18" of rubber   :x
Could have had a custom silicon tube made for about £25 but would have taken a fortnight to arrive.

Thats limp mode, u need a diagnostic, I told u to get f super off eBay ages ago, could be anything

Found out what it was, it's a turbo pipe that's gone, I lifted the bonnet this morning and started it up and noticed some smoke coming from the back of the engine.

I've got one of them diagnostic kits but it wasn't showing anything up.

I did mention that last week, first thing I said on FB

after my Mondeo (DMF/Clutch/starter) then 4 injectors, then starter AGAIN after all 4 coil springs, 2 shocks and 6 strut tops, I have been lucky, the Chevvy (of all things) needed nothing in 18 months/55,000 miles....I hope Fliss the Soupy does as well
